This new iteration of the Air Jordan 1 High is inspired by the brandu2019s shipping department. Sporting a clean composition of white perforated leather with contrasting yellow accents applied throughout, the style is further detailed with black printed UPC barcodes stamped on the lateral ankle that reads u201cFirst Class Flightu201d alongside the heel to coordinate with the theme. Finally, a u201c23u201d recycling symbol and a miniature rendition of Michael Jordanu2019s signature on the sides round out the design.

First Class Flight

Jordan Brand adds a twist to a classic with the Jordan 1 Retro High Royal Toe. Releases like the Shattered Backboard 1 and Bred Toe have shifted all eyes on Jordanu2019s u201cBlack Toeu201d inspired colorways. The Royal Toe takes inspiration from the original Jordan 1 Royal colorway (which was released in 1985) and adds design elements of the Black Toe 1 to create a familiar, but new dialogue.

This AJ 1 features a white and royal leather upper with black leather overlays and detailing. A white midsole, royal outsole, and branded leather tongue tag complete this design. These sneakers were released in May of 2020.

Royal Toe

The high collar and air cushioning of the silhouette were well suited to the upright skaters of the time. Its colorway also attracted a group of skaters who helped define street skateboarding.
A video appearance of Lance Mountain in 1987 skating in these shoes solidified the Air Jordan I as a skate classic. And from then on, even when the shoe wasn’t being worn, it was often the shoe that inspired the skater to get the trick being tested down.
