| It was the adventures and the accomplishments of the Apollo 8 astronauts that inspired the all-black, ceramic Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, but it is the mystique of the Earth’s nightlight and its ever-changing yet constant presence that has spurred the creation of the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon "Vintage Black". This 44.25 mm model stands out with brown indexes and hands, which complement the “vintage” Super-LumiNova. The brushed ceramic bezel has a “vintage” Super-LumiNova tachymeter scale and the matt ceramic dial has been created using laser technology. The “Vintage Black” has blackened central hands and varnished brown hands on the sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock. This 50th anniversary timepiece pays tribute to the “Silver Snoopy Award” that OMEGA received from NASA astronauts in 1970, in recognition of the brand’s contributions to space exploration, including the Apollo 13 mission.
The 42 mm case in stainless steel is presented on a blue nylon fabric strap, which features the trajectory of the Apollo 13 mission on the embossed lining. The silver dial has blue PVD angle-shaped hour markers and hands, as well as an embossed silver Snoopy medallion on the blue subdial at 9 o’clock.
On the NAIAD LOCK caseback, a vision of the far side of the moon has been decorated on the sapphire crystal using micro-structured metallisation. An animated Snoopy in his Command and Service Module (CSM) is shown on a magical hand, which rotates when the chronograph function is used. Behind, an Earth disc rotates once per minute in sync with the watch’s small seconds hand.
Along with black engravings on the caseback in tribute to Apollo 13 and OMEGA's Silver Snoopy Award, there is also a blue ceramic [ZrO2] bezel ring with a white enamel tachymeter scale. The non-limited watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, and comes in a special presentation box.

| Exploring the dark side of the ocean, OMEGA has evolved its ceramic expertise to produce the Seamaster Planet Ocean “Deep Black”. This remarkable 45.5 mm timepiece is the combination of a GMT model and a diving watch. The addition of blue represents the last colour you'll see in the ocean at a depth of approximately 275 m.
The matt casebody has been crafted from a single block of ceramic, and for the first time, rubber has been blended with ceramic to create a unique unidirectional bezel. This colourful innovation can be seen covering the first 15 minutes, while Liquidmetal™ completes the rest of the diving scale. Blue rubber injections have also been used to colour the OMEGA logo on the crown and helium escape valve symbol.
On the black ceramic dial, a GMT ring has been added, as well as blue Arabic numerals, and brushed hands and indexes that are crafted from 18K white gold with a white Super-LumiNova coating. In another first, OMEGA has created an oriented caseback so that the engraved wording sits pleasingly in position. This has been achieved through OMEGA’s new and patented ceramic Naiad Lock.
Other features include an alveol pattern on the screw-in caseback and a black rubber strap with blue stitching and an anti-bacterial treatment. The Planet Ocean “Deep Black” is water-resistant to 60 bar and is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8906. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
